“Without knitting and crochet I wouldn’t have won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.” …a bold statement from British diver Tom Daley, but to those of us who craft, quite understandable (if not entirely relatable!). Virginia Woolf once said, “Knitting is the saving of life” and for many of us it certainly is so much more than a hobby – or a back and a front and two sleeves – it’s social circles, mindful moments in hectic days, tactile pleasures and indeed a livelihood.
We collaborated with Tom Daley as project design consultant for his first craft book ‘Made with Love’ featuring 30 patterns to knit and crochet.
