“I have always loved listening to voices and have learnt so much from listening to podcasts by different actors, comedians, activists and designers. It’s a medium where I think people tend to be more personal, provocative or candid than on the radio. But I had always assumed that I would need to invest in state-of-the-art kit and a sound engineer to use the technology, so it was always on the ‘one day’ project list. But a casual conversation with a neighbour who had experience of editing and a ‘just do it’ attitude spurred me on to give it a go.”
